The Worship Team is to lead the congregants in a genuine experience of worship in public services and to enrich personal and family devotional life. This will include but not be limited to the following:

• Lead in the planning for Christ-centered worship services in conjunction with the minister, elders, deacons, and music staff
• Coordinate services with the church calendar
• Arrange for church flowers and decorations
• Arrange for sound/PowerPoint/video
• for services
• Schedule musicians
• Assist in obtaining speakers in cases of the Senior Minister’s absence
• Submit the annual budget request to the Finance Ministry Team
• Maintain a procedural manual with information pertinent to chairing and serving on the team
• Annually review and update this description as necessary
• Oversight of Worship Partners

The Diaconate is generally responsible for the maintenance and growth of the congregation, primarily in preparation for and during worship. The duties of the Deacons include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare and serve the Lord's Supper
• Receive the tithes and offerings.
• Provide for ushers, greeters and acolytes for worship services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Board.
• Submit the annual budget request to the Finance Committee.
• Create and maintain a manual of procedures.
• The term of office shall be three years with 1/3 of the deacons to be elected annually.
• Deacons may serve an unlimited number of consecutive terms.

Community Service and Missions Ministry Team

The Outreach and Missions Ministry Team is to create and foster a world vision within the Church and to lead in planning and implementing the world-wide program of the Church. This includes developing and maintaining a culture of reaching out to others with the love of Christ through mental, emotional, and physical opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a community awareness of the Church and its ministry
• Utilizing appropriate media to educate and inform the community about the Church
• Organize and develop local, national and international mission opportunities for the congregation
• Submit an annual budget to the Finance Team.
